It will be of most relevance to women who are under or considering being under the care of Mr R Douglas Macmillan who is a specialist breast surgeon based in Nottingham. Douglas has been a consultant breast surgeon for 10 years and performs only breast surgery. He is the clinical lead for breast surgery at the Nottingham Breast Institute. He is a member of the British Association of Breast Surgeons (ABS) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). He specialises is all types of breast surgery and breast cancer treatment.

If you must have an operation, have a good one. Make sure you have all the information you require and all your questions have been answered. For whatever reason you are having breast surgery, there are always choices and having choice is important. Not all breast surgeons can offer these choices.
